Montessori homeschooling begins with you becoming a prepared adult.

Learn the method. Prepare yourself. Educate with intention.

Montessori homeschooling asks more ofus than choosing materials or following a curriculum. It asks us to understand how children develop, prepare and environment that supports their growth, and become capable of guiding their education with confidence and discernment.

At The Montessori Homeschool Academy™, you'll find the training, courses, and practical resources to help you do just that.

Lynda Apostol

Educationalist, Author, Founder of The Montessori Teacher™ and The Montessori Homeschool Academy™

I'm the author of The Montessori Homeschooler, founder of The Montessori Homeschool Academy, Montessori educationalist, and a veteran homeschooling mother. My work focuses on preparing parents to become capable Montessori educators—developing their understanding of child development, educational judgment, and the practical organizational skills needed to guide learning at home. Through TMHA, I bring together Montessori pedagogy, adult preparation, and real-life homeschooling experience to help families build an education that is both developmentally sound and sustainable.

Here, is where parents become the method.

A Montessori homeschool is not defined by the materials on its shelves. It is shaped by an adult who understands development, observes carefully, prepares intentionally, and knows when and how to guide.

At TMHA™, we focus on three interconnected areas:

  • The Prepared Adult

Develop the knowledge, observation skills, judgment, and self-discipline required to guide your child's education.

  • Montessori Pedagogy

Understand the method, its developmental foundations, and how to translate Montessori principles into a home-based learning environment.

  • The Prepared Homeschool

Create the organization, rhythms, learning environment, and long-term educational plans that make your homeschool sustainable.

A little more personal. A lot more of what I'm thinking about.

Essays and field notes on motherhood, homeschooling, books, travel, education, and whatever else I can't stop thinking about. Strong opinions, unfinished thoughts, further reading, adn the occacional revised conclusion.
